As a Client, you may be given access to an online account. It is your responsibility to keep your login details strictly confidential and therefore you must not share your login details with any other person, user, agent or other third party.

A set of Annual Accounts is a MUST for any business!

Whether a self-employed Individual, Sole Trader, or in Partnership, you are required by law to keep a full and accurate record of all your business transactions. Keeping accurate records not only keeps the tax man happy, but it will also assist the preparation of your business accounts. It will help you to keep a sharp eye on your business cash flow too. The information in your accounts is entered on the relevant pages of your tax return and are used to calculate the tax you owe or have overpaid.

HMRC can raise an enquiry into your tax affairs at any time. It is therefore in your best interests to keep full records of all your business transactions. It is an essential part of your business to keep your accounts and taxes up-to-date. We can provide whatever help and guidance you need to keep your tax affairs current and in order.

Annual Accounts Preparation Faqs

Whether you are a Sole Trader, in Partnership or directing a Limited Company, you are required by law to keep accurate business records of your income and expenses.

In order to prepare your accounts, we will request your business books and records.

You can either bring your business records to our office in Redruth, Cornwall, or send them to us by post.

We also provide an online service too, which is offered as a separate service.

When we are preparing your accounts, we work using your business books and records, and any other relevant information that you supply to us.

There may be times during the process when we will need to contact you.

For instance, we may call you if we need to ascertain specific information in regard to your business and transactions or to request missing or incomplete information.

Yes, we will normally send you one notification and two further reminders (if necessary) by text to request your business books and records within 2 months prior to your accounts being due.

We aim to return business books and records within a few days of your accounts being prepared.

If you delivered your business books and records to us in person, you will receive a text to inform you of when they are ready to collect.

If you used our postal service, your business books and records will be returned to you by post.
